As first lady of Minnesota, I treasure the people of our wonderful state. My goal is to serve Minnesota by caring for our families and children.

This website will help you learn more about my initiatives. I invite your helpful suggestions and participation.

To help support Minnesota's military families, I have created the Military Family Care Initiative, a program that allows community organizations to volunteer their time and services to help families of deployed soldiers.

To teach school children about the three branches of government with a special focus on the judiciary, I speak to students to support Civics Education for Children.

To educate Minnesota women about the dangers of heart disease, I have partnered with the national campaigns, The Heart Truth and Go Red for Women, to create the First Lady's Heart Health Initiative.
